Rivers : flow resistance and bedform dimensions for varying flow conditions results of flume experiments with flood waves : report on investigations

Purpose of the experiments was to obtain information about the changing resistance to flow in an alluvial river under varying flow conditions, to be able to draw conclusions about the relative importance of this phenomena to peak flood levels.
