Turbulence and mixing in stratified flow : report on literature survey

Presents the findings of a literature survey on turbulence and vertical turbulent transfer of momentum and mass in stratified tidal flows. The objective of the study was to review the literature on the subject from the perspective of salinity intrusion in estuaries.
