Erosion and deposition characteristics of natural muds : sediments from the Maas (Belfeld)

A sediment sample from the river Meuse (near Belfeld) is investigated with respect to its behaviour on deposition and erosion. An annular flume is used to quantify the parameters governing these processes. Parallel to these tests various physico-chemical properties of the sediment are determined.
