Flocculation characterics of natural muds : sediments from Ketelmeer

A sediment sample from the lake Ketelmeer is investigated with respect to its behaviour on flocculation. A settling column is used to quantify the parameters governing this process. Parallel to these tests various physico-chemical properties of the sediment are determined.
