Calibration and uncertainty analysis of environmental models : calibration of the model system DELWAQ-IMPAQT for the Lake Ketelmeer

The calibration of the model system DELWAQ-IMPAQT as appliet to hexachlorobenzene (HCB) in Lake Ketelmeer is described using a global optimization method. The results from the optimization procedure show that the use of global optimization leads to improved parameter settings.
